Worshipping God can be described as the submission of all of our nature to Him. It is the quickening of our conscience by His holiness. It's the nourishment of our minds by His truth. It is the purifying of our imagination by His beauty, the opening of the heart to His love and the submission of will to His purpose.

Paul writes in his letter to the Romans:Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. (Romans 12:1)Worship is not simply an act we do once a week. It is a lifestyle. What we do everyday can be worship unto God. Living in light of the knowledge of the Creator should guide our every step. And these steps include gathering with fellow worshippers on the Lord's Day in corporate worship. This helps us in our everyday worship...

MUSIC
Our Sunday worship gathering includes a time to sing praises to God. The music is led mainly by a band of acoustic guitars, bass guitar, keyboard and drums. Other avenues of music are also used.  The songs are contemporary. Occasionally a hymn from the past is sung but in a contemporary way.

Psalm 33:3, “Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.” New songs keep our worship fresh and indicates God’s working among us.

MESSAGE
"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). The preaching of God’s Word is vital to developing saving faith. Each Sunday, a relevant and Bible-based message is brought. Our preaching team utilizes photo images and video clips to help illustrate the morning's message and there is always the opportunity for you to take a next step at the end of each service, whatever that step might be for you in your walk with Christ.

COMMUNION
In following the precedent of the New Testament (Acts 20:7) we gather every Sunday for Communion (The Lord’s Supper). In keeping with Jesus’ teaching, we serve unleavened bread representing His body and grape juice (“blood of the grape” – Deuteronomy 32:14) representing His blood. During this time we remember Jesus was crucified on a cross for our sin and His blood was shed to bring us forgiveness.

OFFERING
God does not need our money - He is the Creator and sustainer of all things. However we are called to give back to Him. Giving helps us keep a perspective on what we have and is used by God to further the work of His church. An offering is taken each Sunday to give individuals opportunity to give to God as they have prospered (1 Corinthians 16:2).
