 HELP BUILD HOPE
Help Build Hope is an extension of the ministry of CrossRoads Missions, based out of Louisville, KY. This program allows local churches and communities to come together to frame a house on the church grounds, under the guidance of CrossRoads personnel.  With monetary support from local businesses and the sweat of church members and the local community, we frame out walls that are used by a local Habitat for Humanity chapter to construct a finished home.
 
Last year we hosted two Help Build Hope events and both were a huge success.  Volunteers worked together to frame enough walls for several houses.  The finished product was shipped to a local Habitat for Humanity chapter for installation on a work site.  Scroll down to the bottom to see pictures and a video of previous events.

Our sixth Help Build Hope event is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 8:00 am in the church’s parking lot.  We’ll start off with registration, a free continental breakfast, and sing a couple of songs.  We’ll then receive brief instructions and head out to the parking lot to begin!  No previous experience is necessary.  This event is for the whole family!
